Authors releasing their work in Adobe's fine Acrobat file format now have choices when it comes to their distribution where licensing is concerned. AcroLok, not ONLY encrypts your PDF's to protect them against unauthorized access, but by using Vibralogix's product line, you can automate your licensing using any of the top on line payment processors. Acrolok encrypts your file using our proprietary file format (*Epdf) which does not load into any other viewer than the AcroLok viewer (*FREE). The AcroLok method includes some of the most powerful encryption technology available, making it the logical choice in distribution protection. Only those you provide with a legitimate license file can view your document, and the best part is... if they distribute your work they must include their email address to access the document. Without the licensors original email address, the document will simply not open.

AcroLok is totally transparent to your Adobe Acrobat security settings (printing, saving, etc). However you set those during file creation, is how they will respond from within AcroLok. AcroLok is merely a protective wrapper around your original file, that permits the generation of license keys, either manually from within the software, or completely automatically using a Vibralogix's server side script. And if server side scripts sounds totally Greek to you, no worries as we can set you up on our server for just $10/month using any of the supported on line payment processors (see the Vibralogix site for details).

Our software works in two modes; Registered and Unregistered. In Unregistered mode, it is the AcroLok viewer. Whatever Epdf files you load into it will display given the right email address and key string. Enter your data into AcroLok viewer one time (per document) and it will recall your settings for you each time you reload your documents.

In Registered mode, users are able to enter the AcroLok Compiler where they can load in PDF's and encrypt them using their own passcode. Also from the compiler, they can generate license's for any files previously encrypted with the AcroLok system.
